To Cultivate Collaborative Library Scholars
A free, online 10-unit research methods training program for librarians at MLS level; online workshops sharing librarian-scholar successes; guided workshops to prepare for competitive grants, followed by small group mentoring; self-organized peer mentoring groups.
Seed grants for collaborative research projects between library staff and their local faculty and researchers, funded by participating libraries. ~$5,000 each project for 6 months or a year. Focus on SMART goals, deliverables should lead to more impactful scholarly outcomes, future projects, and collaborations.
Selected fellows are granted 3-month research leave from their regular job to bring their research to the next level. Fellowship is funded through participating libraries to their own employees.
This project is a collaborative effort between Virginia Tech, University of North Texas, University of Colorado Boulder, Los Alamos National Lab, and University of California Riverside, funded by IMLS. For more details please click below.
